Prof Emeritus Dr Chan Siew Pheng University Malaya

Dr SP Chan graduated from the University of Malaya Kuala Lumpur. She was awarded Emeritus Professor of Endocrine Medicine by University of Malaya in December 2022. She also practices at Subang Jaya Medical Centre, Selangor. As an academician, she has conducted research in the field of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Osteoporosis. She was the chairperson of the current 6th Malaysian Clinical Practice Guidelines on T2DM management (2020). She has been actively involved in diabetes education for longer than she would like to admit.
