Prof Dr Firdaus Mukhtar Universiti Putra Malaysia

Professor Dr Firdaus was born in Kuala Lumpur and is the Past President for the Asian Cognitive Behavior Therapy Association (ACBTA) and currently serve as Training and Accreditation of World Confederation CBT. In Malaysia, she works as a Professor and Consultant Clinical Psychologist at Psychiatry Clinic, Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, UPM. She was appointed as a Global Leader Ambassador 2023 and was the first Honorary Secretary for Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology. She served as an advisor for both 10th World CBT Congress in Seoul , South Korea 2023 and 8th Asian CBT Congress in New Delhi, India in 2024. The World Health Organization (WHO) has appointed Dr Firdaus as CBT Expert Consultant in Malaysia. In 2012, she was awarded the Young Scientist Award by Loreal Malaysia due to her excellent contribution in research on CBT.
