Harpreet Kaur, an accomplished and dedicated nurse, began her career in 2009 at Assunta Hospital. She earned a B.Sc. in Nursing Development (Hons.) from Northumbria University in 2014 and a Master’s of Nursing from Mahsa University in 2019. Currently a Diabetes Educator at Subang Jaya Medical Centre, Harpreet holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes Management and Education from IMU University (2023). Beyond her clinical responsibilities, her exemplary work featured in NADI Magazine in 2021 showcases her commitment to advancing diabetes education and patient care. She also actively contributes to the field by serving as an internal reviewer for the MDES Diabetes Education Manual 2024.Harpreet played a pivotal role in the collaborative effort that secured prestigious awards. As one of the authors, she significantly contributed to winning the 1st prize at the APHM Conference & Exhibition 2023 and the Best Poster Award at the Diabetes Asia Conference in 2023. Harpreet's leadership qualities propelled her to the role of Clinical Resource Nurse at Island Hospital, Penang. Her passion for diabetes care flourished at Subang Jaya Medical Centre, where she currently serves as a Diabetes Educator. In 2023, she solidified her expertise with a Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes Management and Education from IMU University.
