With great pleasure I would like to invite you to Kuala Lumpur for MDES Conference 2024. MDES Conference is a biannual flagship conference of the Malaysian Diabetes Educators Society (MDES). The conference emphasis the contemporary industry topics that include diabetes education skills, the latest technology in diabetes care, medical and nutritional treatment advancement, and psychosocial support.

Living with diabetes is a lifelong challenge. A holistic approach is necessary to address problems of many aspects living with diabetes. More importantly a comprehensive diabetes care promotes the well-being of an individual with diabetes as the disease progresses. MDES Conference serves as a platform for diabetes experts to exchange intellectual ideas. On behalf of the MDES Executive Committee I would like to thank Prof Dr Norlaila Mustafa and Professor Dr Muhammad Yazid Jalaludin for chairing the scientific committee, Ms Choong Shiau Yin and Dr Tan Ming Yeong for organising the conference.
