Dr Chang Li Cheng Ministry of Health

Dr Chang Li Cheng is currently a Consultant Family Medicine Specialist and the District Head of Family Medicine Specialist, practicing in Klinik Kesihatan Kuang, Selangor. She obtained her MBBS from International Medical University in year 2002, and obtained her Master in Family Medicine UKM in year 2012. She continued her 3- year subspeciality training in NCD in Primary Care under Ministry of Health Malaysia for 3 years and currently also serves as a NCD Specialist in Primary Care since year 2022. She actively involves in numerous Industrial Initiated Study and Industrial Initiated Study, locally and internationally, including publications. She was awarded as the “Rising Star” by Clinical Research Malaysia in year 2023. Dr Chang also actively involves in academic teaching. She serves as the Honorary Consultant Family Medicine Specialist appointed by Taylor’s University since year 2015. She is also the Supervisor for housemanship trainees under MOH since year 2018. She is also the Supervisor for ATFM candidates under Academy of Family Medicine of Malaysia (AFMP) since year 2017. Dr Chang is also the Gazettor for Family Medicine Specialist, MOH since year 2021. Dr Chang actively involves in numerous public- private collaborative projects. She is one of the Expert Panels for Diabetes Lifestyle Programme (DLP) since year 2021. She is also in the Expert Panel for Advisory Board for Overcoming SABA Overreliance in Asthma Care in Malaysia since year 2023, and also the expert panel for SGLT2- inhibitor Advisory Board. Dr Chang actively involves in CPG and National Strategic Plan developmental groups.Dr Chang is the invited speakers for various CME/ workshops/ symposium/conference at district, state and national levels.
